Purchase Order Terms & Conditions

Acceptance of a required deposit confirms that the buyer has read, understands, and agrees to the following terms.

General Warranty

Jake’s Amish Furniture warrants that furniture supplied under a purchase order will meet the following standards.

Produced according to the exact dimensions and specifications provided by the buyer.
Fit for its intended purpose.
Made with good Amish-quality materials and workmanship.
Manufactured in compliance with applicable laws.
Delivered free and clear of security interests, liens, and encumbrances, with merchantable title held by the seller.

If these standards are not met, Jake’s Amish Furniture will repair the furniture or have a new piece made and will remove the unfit product at the seller’s expense.

Wait Times

Estimated production time is generally two to four months. This is an estimate rather than a guaranteed completion date, and delays can occur.

Jake’s will contact you when your furniture is ready, even if it is completed sooner than expected. Your patience during the handcrafted production process is appreciated.

Required Deposits

A down payment is required before production begins: 20% for standard pieces and 50% for custom pieces.

When the order is complete, the buyer will be notified to make final payment and arrange pickup or delivery. Final payment and receipt arrangements must be completed within two weeks of notification.

After two weeks, a $50 storage fee per item will be charged every 30 days and must be paid monthly. Payment upon delivery is not available for furniture shipped by common carrier.

Cancellation

Orders canceled after production begins are subject to a 30% restocking fee for standard pieces and a 70% restocking fee for custom pieces.

Jake’s Amish Furniture reserves the right to cancel an order, in whole or in part, for any reason by returning the applicable deposit and providing written notice within seven days. Upon that refund, the seller is released from further obligations for the canceled portion.

Returns

Return Policies

Eligible returns must be in as-good-as-new condition, accompanied by the original receipt, and made within 30 days.

Standard items canceled after production begins are subject to a 30% restocking fee.
Custom items are subject to a 70% restocking fee.

These terms form a legally binding agreement between Jake’s Amish Furniture Inc. and the buyer and supersede prior verbal or written agreements concerning the purchase order.
